Pan European Networks published recently an editorial “Why we need environmental computing” by Dieter Kranzlmüller, describing on the abstract level the importance of the discipline and challenges and opportunities related to it.
The more practical and technical issues related to environmental computing are being discussed at the environmental computing workshop at ISGC 2016. The presentations and report from the event will be published soon!
